- 4 StatsCan just released a report showing that Canada has not hit its greenhouse gas emissions targets. But StatsCan has merely interpreted the Kyoto Agreement differently than the federal government. It’s not like the Bible, there are a number of different ways you could read the Kyoto Agreement.

- 3 Albertan white supremacists and anti-racist protesters clashed at a rally near Calgary’s city hall over a decision to allow Muslim women to vote while wearing their veil. The obvious answer to this issue is just to reverse women’s suffrage. Obviously.

+2 Two RCMP officers were understandably mistaken for strippers by a group of drunken female UBC students. The good natured officers decided to play along.

- 6 The Turkey-Iraq tension is pushing up oil prices world wide. Definitely, the real worry here is oil prices.

+1 A transportation promotion group believes that Vancouver’s traffic problem could easily be solved if more and bigger bridges were built throughout the city. It will be great when one day we all refer to people from the Hastings-Sunrise area as the “bridge-and-tunnel” crowd.

+5 Kucinich on Colbert. He’s literally the Groucho Marks of comedy. Seriously, somebody convince this guy to run for president. He’s an effing shoo-in!
