- 2 Countering the common misconception that kids are growing up way too fast these days, Canadian youth are living at home longer than they used to. Even so, the age of consent should definitely still be lowered.

- 1 A Nova Scotian lesbian couple have filed a human rights complaint over some outdated bureaucratic form. The official government birth registration form only has a place for a “Mother” and “Father” to fill in their names, not “Mother” and “Mother”. Though the cause is just and the form should be changed, filing a human rights complaint over something that could have been taken care of by crossing out the word “Father” seems a little extreme.

- 1 Last week, News1130 reported that maybe the Vancouver labour shortage is due to a lack of affordable housing. That’s one reason, it could also be that all of the jobs are in the service industry and only pay minimum wage.

- 3 US cities Atlanta, GA and Trenton, NJ want to ban saggy pants, like when dudes’ pants sag so much you can see their boxers, or their butts. Understandably, the ACLU has chalked this up to blatant racial profiling. But isn’t the assumption that only black people enjoy the roomy freedom that busting a sag provides also racist?
