- 2 BC reports a surplus nearly seven times higher than what they projected. Apparently, this is the third year in a row this has happened. Funny though, you wouldn’t really guess that was the case when you look around this desolate waste of a city.

- 2 Garbage collectors might seriously go on strike. You mean they aren’t already on strike? They shouldn’t be striking. They should be getting fired, because they suck at their jobs.

+4 Father and daughter drive from Halifax to Vancouver in a Smart Car, and it only takes 337 litres of gas. FYI it takes about 628 litres for the most fuel efficient SUVs to go the same distance.

+4 US Senator John McCain is going broke, so he’s going to have to stop riding in a G5 and get on a plane that doesn’t serve food. LOL! It’s because he’s an unethical little bitch.

+2 UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon asserts that we need a new way of thinking about how to fight climate change. Like, say, finding a new planet that could potentially sustain life?

+1 The Queen has a tantrum at Annie Leibovitz when Annie suggests that she remove her crown for a photo… Holy shit that’s the funniest picture of anyone ever! Leibovitz is a genius. UPDATE: Apparently the BBC lied about this. Whatever.

- 2 Hollywood is so stupidly out of ideas they are remaking both Bill and Ted and Footloose. And that is why a prayer should be said everyday to thank God for JJ Abrams.
