I’m spending this summer back in Vancouver becoming an old lady, learning to do watercolours and to sail in a homemade boat of papier mâchéd coupons and foodstamps with a macramé sail. The sail will feature a moony-eyed Yorkshire terrier leaking a salty tear. I’m only here for one more year (HONEST) so I’m pinching pennies and baby’s cheeks, working on childrens’s books and not getting so drunk (HONEST) so I’ll have enough £££ (HONEST) to move (HONEST!) back to London again (HONEST) next Spring. No, really. An old lady.
