For real, this movie stars KISS, the original lineup at the height of their fame. Set in an amusement park, it’s about an evil inventor who makes animatronic robots. Deciding that the band, set to play three shows in the park, is responsible for him losing his job, he hatches a diabolical plan to save the park. He then goes on to build a crazy robot army — complete with Cat People and KISS imposters — to destroy the band. This movie is so ridiculous it’s amazing. Originally made for TV, it just became available on DVD, after spending years in video limbo. KISS also have superpowers they get from a set of intergalactic talismans they keep in a jeweled case.
