Up at the Belkin Gallery is Polish artist Piotr Nathan’s paintings and massive wall installations. Nathan, who has recently been included in the epic Saatchi painting show “The Triumph of Painting”, is well worth the bus fare out to UBC. At Shindig Tuesday is Vancouver’s favourite “art” rock band Rock’n. Come to cheer cuz if they win they’ll be re-recording their existing catalogue with lucky kids from Children’s Hospital on back-up. Finally is animator/painter Liam Hogan’s new street mural for the Crying Room Projects at 157 E Cordova.
