MUSIC
Doesn’t this show happen all the time? Panurge, No Luck Club, and It’s a Living Thing.
At the Plaza Club

Vancouver is already too far gone to even start considering ways to fix it. The unyielding problems mount more and more everyday. Which is why the Shake Your Buddha Fundraiser is raising funds to promoting AIDS awareness and prevention in a Nepalese school. Vancouver is already fucked, let’s help those that still have a chance.
Playing will be jump+dash, Wintermitt, and Barbazon School Hairdressers.
$10 at the Anza. All Ages

BOOK READING
A book reading is kind of like going to a lecture where it’s acceptable to cry and everything you are told isn’t true, not much unlike a lecture held by the Fraser Institute. Tonight Richard van Camp will be reading excerpts from his latest fiction, Wolf Medicine.
Starts 6:30pm at Blim (#197 — East 17th Ave@ Main)

KARAOKE
For those that may not already know, Pat’s Pub has moved it’s wonderful karaoke night with the Beav from Thursdays to Wednesdays. This leaves Wendythirteen and her Hot Rod Scaryoke at the Cobalt as the last great Thursday night karaoke spot.
