MUSIC
Last year we spent a couple months putting on Vancouver’s Music Waste festival. Four days, four venues a night with four bands a piece. We also published a guide to the fest in our magazine with absurd, nonsensical write-ups about each band. Most bands got the joke, while others preferred to take themselves more seriously. Around the third day of the festival a member of Fake Shark Real Zombie approached us riled up about their write-up.

“What the fuck do you even do?!?” said the disgruntled drummer to the festival organiser. Admittedly, we were so loaded that we can now barely recall the exact exchange of words other than this belligerent query. But we’re sure we made some smart quip and walked away before decking the retard.

The rest of the band are probably nice kids though.
