FILM
Continuing with their “Canada’s Top Ten of 2006” series, the Cinematheque is offering something called Sur La Trace d’Igor Rizzi tonight. Don’t get too excited. As the title suggests, this is a French Canadian film. And you all know what that means. It means subtitles, which means reading. And on a Wednesday night when American Idol is on TV, who wants to go waste their time at the popular French movies?
Tonight at the Cinematheque at 7:30 pm

MUSIC
There’s a really special show going down tonight in East Van. The Fits and Great Aunt Ida are helping Kim Barlow celebrate the release of her second CD. Since Kim is from the Yukon you’re excused for never having heard of her before, but everyone in Vancouver should be down with Ida by now. Go sit on the floor with your legs crossed, and sing along with these total ladies.
Tonight at the East Van Cultural Center at 7:30 pm
