GARBAGE
With the strike finally over, regular pick up begins today. It’s maybe too late if your day on the schedule is today but unless you’ve been dumping your trash at the parks or bringing it to work, you’ve probably got like 13 weeks of smelly crap to get rid of. Get on it. Before the rats do.


FILM
Well, the VIFF is over and we managed a lot of coverage and hopefully you went and saw at least one good movie during the sixteen day festival. Tonight the Best of the Fest continues with repeat screenings of a couple of festival favourites over at the Vancity Theatre. The Greece, Turkish co-production of Bliss plays at 7:00pm and the documentary The Union:The Business Behind Getting High plays at 9:15pm. So if you missed the whole festival, now’s yer last chance to see some movies that will probably never ever play again.
