Kathyrn Calder went from playing with Immaculate Machine at Seylynn Hall, a former favourite destination for drunk North Van teenagers wearing ironic t-shirts, to playing with the New Pornographers at the Glastonbury festival, a current favourite destination for some 200,000 people who can afford $300 tickets. Tonight, the singer/keyboardist returns to her more humble beginnings with Immaculate Machine to open for Tokyo Police Club at the Plaza. Just make sure to save enough energy for Victory Square tomorrow.

Tokyo Police Club play with Immaculate Machine at the Plaza Club at 9:30pm.
