MUSIC
For some, Arcade Fire are one of the greatest bands to come out of the indie circuit in the new millennium. For others, they represent the four horsemen of the apocalypse wearing helmets and banging silly drums. On September 13, 2004 a Pitchforkmedia review fulfilled the final prophecy where a band should rise up and a break down the barriers between mainstream and indie music. But this band is attempting to deceive us, they are not the Second Coming. By believing in Arcade Fire it is more than simple fandom, it is handing your soul over to something much darker. Maybe that’s why there hasn’t been a rating as high as 9.7 for a new release since then, the gates of hell may open again.
