Baby Mama drama. Spoiler: the drama is that this movie sucks.

What is this a movie review blog that only reviews movies after people stop caring about them? MAYBE.

I don’t have a lot to say about the Tina Fey/Amy Poehler dramedy (ha!) Baby Mama mostly because I got my nails did last night and Thomas my nail man gave me longer gel tips than I intended so typing is hard BUT that doesn’t mean I dont think this movie was profusely bad cause I did, it’s just too hard to write how bad it was.

2 things:

1.) Not funny. Babies are not inherently funny. Women wanting to have babies is super duper not funny and a pseudo buddy comedy about two pretty unlikeable women is the most not funny.

2.) Greg Kinnear. NOPE. That was your first mistake everyone involved with this movie. Remember when Phil Hartman was killed by his wife? I thought they were talking about Greg Kinnear at first and I still kinda wish they were.

(1 and ONLY) The only kind of funny joke in the entire movie is when they are at the baby shower and one guy syas he had never thought much about eating the placenta before and then another guy goes “Did you say palenta?” Zing!
