Loan Titans Paid McCain Adviser Nearly $2 Million - NYTimes.com:

This isn’t just an “adviser.” This is his campaign manager Rick Davis. Although, really, why should this be a surprise? We all know McCain is a deregulator. We all know this has been McCain’s economic policy for the last 25 years. The fact that the top person on his campaign staff took $2 million from Fannie and Freddie shouldn’t be a stunner. It also shouldn’t be a stunner that McCain is desperately trying to push the attention over to Obama’s lobbying ties because right now, this connection alone is pretty damning.
