Borne of the non-violent student protests in the 1960s, the Weathermen were a group of frustrated political radicals who broke off on their own, went underground, and embarked on a terrorist campaign dedicated to the violent overthrow of the American government. For years they evaded capture, but after decades of running from the law most were either caught or gave up. Mixing archival footage and interviews, this documentary in turn catches up with many of the surviving members and offers first-hand insight into what they were thinking when they thought they could change the world.
