'This state needs someone who cares about this state more than one day a year.':

I’m not saying I disagree with Romney’s thing in the Times yesterday. I don’t really agree with it either. Regardless, what a hypocrite the guy is. He is the embodiment of a slimy politician. This is what he had to say about the auto industry back when he was pouring his life savings into becoming president:

I want to bring Michigan back. I am not willing to sit back and say ‘too bad for Michigan, too bad for the car industry, too bad for the people who lost their jobs, they are gone forever.’ I will not rest when I am president of the United States until Michigan is brought back.

As far as I can tell, the only things that have changed between then and now are: he isn’t trying to be president, and the economy is WAY worse.

Romney. What a pandering fuck.
