I believe in love

I cannot imagine living in a country where the government dictated who I could and could not marry.

As a sign that true American values — Progressive values — are starting to spread across the nation, the state of Connecticut stopped discriminating against its LGBT citizens today. A quote from one of the plaintiffs in the case should warm even the darkest cockles of your heart:

“We’ve always dreamed of being married. Even though we were lesbians and didn’t know if that would ever come true, we always dreamed of it.”

So that’s two states in New England and California. Who’s next? New York? Maine? I’m looking at you…
