Arrived safe and sound off a standby West Jet flight. I had missed the first one which apparently left at 2pm. I thought my flight was at 8:00pm. Had to cancel my dinner reservation at Rae & Jerry’s which was unfortunate, becuase it forced a very impromptu goodbye to Finn who is off to other parts of the country tomorrow on her summer sojourn. I cried all the way to gate F and got slammed on the plane. Adieu Winnipeg.

Michael flew eight hours ahead of me to make sure everything was in order and had the fridge full of Heifeweissen and wraps made with fresh salmon, capers, and cream cheese. Everythin is A-OK.
